Terms & Policies

Payment and Billing:

Events with Taste does not bill for services. Unless otherwise agreed upon, a $500 deposit is required to secure your date and final payment is due the day before the event. Due to working with all fresh ingredients, food selections must be finalized no later than 10 days from your event date. Final guest count must be supplied by the client to Events with Taste seven days prior to the event date. If we do not receive your final count, the approximate guest count listed in your proposal will be the minimum accepted by Events with Taste. We reserve the right to adjust your invoice if the correct guest count is not given. We will attempt to make every effort to accommodate increases in guest count, although some menu items may vary due to availability. Unless otherwise agreed upon or a tax exempt certificate is provided, a 9.25% Sales tax is added to the final bill for all food, beverage and other taxable items. A 20% Service charge is also applied to food, beverage, rentals and linens.

Cancellation Policy:

If your event is cancelled for any reason whatsoever thirty (30) or more calendar days prior to the event date, the $500 deposit paid will be returned upon Events with Taste re-booking the date. If cancellation is made fewer than 30 calendar days prior to the event, the client shall be responsible for one hundred percent (100%) of the total event charges.

Liability:

Events with Taste's general liability policy does not allow for any food or food related items to be supplemented or provided by any source other than Events with Taste without full release of all responsibility on the event. The client shall not bring to the event any supplemental food (other than cake) or beverage and shall not contract with others to bring any food or beverage for the event without prior written consent of Events with Taste. No leftover food can be taken from the event site without a release waiver signed prior to the event.

Alcoholic Beverages

Payment for alcoholic beverages is required to be invoiced separately, as we are not licensed to sell alcohol for profit. However, we can arrange for delivery and service for your event. The State Liquor Control Board regulates alcoholic beverages and our bartenders are trained to use their discretion in the distribution of alcohol. The client also acknowledges that Events with Taste  waives any responsibility to any mishaps or accidents as result from misuse or over-consumption of alcoholic beverages.
